This Valentine’s season, we’re not just celebrating romantic love – we’re celebrating all kinds of love. Love for your besties, your ride-or-die furry friends, your weird-but-wonderful family, and (most importantly) yourself. And I want to kick this off by sending a little love your way. 💜

Yesterday, I found myself scrolling through the comments on our latest #GlossWithUs wrap-up, and wow… our community is everything. The kindness, the hype, the way you lift each other up - it genuinely makes my heart burst (and no, I’m not just being dramatic). I want you to know how much I appreciate every single one of you. Without our customers, ambassadors, and creators, GlossGods wouldn’t exist. You’re the reason we get to do what we love, and for that, I’m beyond grateful.

I’ll be real for a sec - this might be oversharing, and I might be saying things a brand owner “shouldn’t” say, but hey, GlossGods has never been about playing it safe. I want to open up about why we do what we do, and why this brand is so personal to me. Makeup has always been my armor, my rebellion, my happy place. It helped me express who I was before I even had the words to explain it. It was also my first act of defiance - like when my teachers said we couldn’t wear makeup, I went full blue eyeshadow just to make a point. 😎

And that’s exactly what I want GlossGods to be for you. Not just another makeup brand, but something that fits into your everyday life like your favorite song, your go-to coffee order, or that inside joke only your best friend understands.

We’re working on some exciting things behind the scenes (yes, logistics and boring grown-up stuff have gotten in the way - shoutout to my immune system for making things extra spicy), but in February, we’re making it happen. And now… about Valentine’s Day.

When I think of love, my first thought isn’t my romantic partner (sorry, Joakim, you know I love you). It’s my friends, my family, my dogs (and every animal I haven’t met yet but already love).

But one person I don’t think about enough? Me. And that needs to change. Self-love is just as important as the love we give to others. So this Valentine’s, I’m making a pact: I’m celebrating all the incredible souls in my life including myself. Because you know what? I’m smart, creative, a little chaotic (in the best way), and I should probably appreciate that more. 💅
